It is located in the center of Oviedo, in Santa Ana nº1, mainly occupying the “Palacio de Velarde (18th century)”.
It is one of the most important collections in Spain, publicly owned. It is made up of 8,000 inventoried parts; ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Works by: El Greco, Ribera, Zurbarán, Murillo, the Meléndez family, Goya, Regoyos, Sorolla, Solana, Picasso, Dalí and Luis Fernández stand out.
It also offers free guided tours and complementary children’s activities.
